About these terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the STRMIO website at STRMIO.ca and to any purchase of STRMIO Lifetime Access. By completing a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not make a purchase.
Our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer also apply and form part of these terms.
The STRMIO service
STRMIO Lifetime Access costs $50 CAD. It is a one-time payment. It is not a subscription, and you will not be charged again for the same purchase.
Your purchase includes:
- STRMIO account credentials prepared for you
- Setup guidance for supported devices, currently Smart TV, Windows, macOS and Android
- Email support for your purchase and setup
Your purchase gives you access to the STRMIO service as described on this website. It does not transfer ownership of any third-party software, including Stremio, or of any movie, television show or other content.
The STRMIO website is for information, browsing and purchasing. It does not itself stream movies or television.
Delivery of credentials
Account credentials are prepared manually after your payment is confirmed.
Account credentials are normally delivered to the email used during checkout within 12 hours of successful payment.
You are responsible for entering a valid email address during checkout, since that is where your credentials are sent. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not see our email.
If your credentials have not arrived 12 hours after payment, email support@strmio.ca with the email you used at checkout and we will help.
Your responsibilities
When you use STRMIO, you are responsible for:
- Providing a valid email address at checkout
- Keeping the credentials supplied to you confidential
- Using the service lawfully and in line with these terms
- Maintaining compatible hardware, software and a working internet connection
Third-party services
STRMIO may rely on, or direct you to, independent third-party software and services, including the Stremio application. STRMIO does not own, develop, operate or control Stremio or any other third-party service, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Stremio.
Third-party services are provided by their own operators under their own terms. They may change their software, compatibility, availability, requirements or features at any time, independently of STRMIO.
Because of this, STRMIO cannot guarantee the permanent operation or availability of any independently operated third-party service. If a change affects your access, contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to help you continue using STRMIO.
Content discovery
Movie and television information shown on the STRMIO website, such as titles, descriptions, ratings and artwork, is provided for browsing and discovery.
The appearance of a title on STRMIO is not a representation or guarantee that the specific title is available through the purchased service.
Title information and artwork are provided by TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
What “Lifetime Access” means
“Lifetime Access” means your one-time $50 CAD payment covers your STRMIO access for as long as STRMIO continues to offer the service. You will not be asked to pay again to keep the access you purchased.
Lifetime Access does not promise that any particular third-party service, software, integration, technology or individual title will exist or remain available forever. Those depend on independent operators and rights holders outside STRMIO’s control.
Changes to the service
As the service evolves, STRMIO may make reasonable changes to its setup process, instructions, compatible devices and technologies, and related functionality. We will aim to keep customers informed of changes that affect how they use the service.
STRMIO will not remove paid access without reason. Access may be suspended or ended only where these terms have been breached, for example through the acceptable use restrictions below, or where required by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
Acceptable use
When using STRMIO, you agree not to:
- Resell the credentials supplied to you
- Share your credentials beyond your own permitted personal use
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access, disrupt or compromise STRMIO systems
- Commit fraud, make unauthorized payments or abuse the payment process
Limitation of liability
STRMIO provides the service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by applicable law, STRMIO is not responsible for losses caused by third-party services, devices or internet connections outside its control.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
